Another taste

Here are a few more samples of what is to come. Oh how the holidays put holds and delays on all non-yuletide plans! Alas. But I am particularly excited about these new creations and they will definitely have a place on the new menu:

White Chocolate Lavender
Coconut Maple

Cranberry-Apricot Muesli
Lemon Curd
Chocolate Cinnamon

And the latest in Tart Territory (ooh, sounds like a province in Candy Land, doesn't it?) are

Caramel Blackberry
Pomegranate and Ginger

The former, pictured above is divine: caramel mousse inside a sweet and buttery tart shell supports plump, juicy blackberries. The later (pomegranate & ginger) is scheduled to appear soon, so let your mouth water over this one, and be sure to check back for the up and coming!

A New Taste

As some of you know, I am in the process of launching a new catering business, which, to be perfectly honest, is equal parts yikes and exhilaration. Though still in the prepping phase, I'm excited to share a little of what is to come with all of you.

Equally exciting is the newly-established local photography studio, Lemonpeel, who I've enlisted to help create my new portfolio. Incredibly versatile and talented photographers here, people! Check them out HERE.

I hope you enjoy the following and that, just maybe, you even start to salivate a little!

French Butter Sables

Black Bean Soup w/ Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
& Creme Fraiche

Gingerbread Blondies

Spinach & Feta 'Spanikopita' Streudel

The Great Pumpkin Dinner

Pecan Cake w/ Spiced Pumpkin Mousse & Pecan Praline

Lisa wanted a rustic look for her annual Great Pumpkin Dinner, so we let the buttercream spill out just a bit from each layer, topped it with a rosette of mousse and buttercream, and gave it some sparkle with a bit of pecan praline.
